Day 4 - Ute Gulch & Upper Bench

Day 4 starts with breaking camp, boiling water for coffee and a farewell to Chris.  There are deer near our camp but they don't seem to mind that we are intruding.  We will walk downhill (oh ya!) to the Ute Gulch Commissary where we will pick up food and stop at a small trading post.  Lunch will be on the trail before a water fill up at Deer Lake Mesa Camp as we are heading to another "dry camp", Upper Bench Camp.

One last meal with Chris

Where are we going?

Singing on the trail.  Disney, folk songs to Journey.  We got it covered

Upper Bench Camp - Elevation 8160

Nothing like the great outdoors.  Two seats, no waiting.

Another awesome meadow
Dry camp clean up

This is a little harder to explain.  With no phone coverage the crew
finds ways to stay entertained.  We heard Lion King songs belted over
the meadow and a rock formation that was built for, well, I'm not sure.
Good thing this wasn't a "leave no trace" area.
